Architectural Design & Specification

Our
Charted Building Surveyors based in Lancashire, work together with our
experienced Architectural Technicians to design extensions,
conversions and refurbishments as well as new-build projects
for both commercial organisations and private clients
throughout Lancashire and the North West.
Our Architectural Technicians will prepare proposed
drawings, after we have taken time to discuss the client’s
design requirements.
Once the design drawings are approved by the client we will
prepare all required documentation for Planning Permission
and Building Regulation Approval, including all supporting
documentation and submit the applications on the Client's
behalf. We would then liaise with the Local Authority on any
matters which arise during the application process to bring
the application to a successful approval.
Beyond this, we can prepare a detailed specification
document to accompany the design drawings, which will set
out the extent and standards of construction work required.
Following this, if required, we can seek prices from
building contractors via a competitive tender exercise, put
in place and administer the building contract, including
monitoring workmanship standards and certifying payments.
